The Story

I vividly remember growing up in Upstate New York where, as a child, I would walk with my parents to our city’s downtown area where the local shops, restaurants, and movie theater (each within walking distance) created the fabric of the environment and experience. Walking through the surrounding neighborhoods as you gradually made your way closer to the main commercial corridor, you could feel the buzz of downtown as the surrounding environment and design shifted.

From these formative and inspirational experiences grew a passion for combining architecture, landscape architecture, and urban design. Now, as an architect / urban designer, I understand and strive to achieve the positive impacts that well-designed buildings, gardens, and urban spaces bring to a city. Bringing this work to life, precisely designed environments spark creativity, dialog, and an awareness of time and space. Most importantly, it provides an identity to its surrounding neighborhood.
